I just wanted to take a walk

Post » Mon Jun 11, 2012 9:14 am

I had just left Whiterun, I walked past Fort Greymoor, and out of nowhere came three dragons, all wanting to kill eachother then I turned around and I see Thalmor justicars blasting lightning, and shooting arrows at the dragons, well one of the stupid dragons decided to attack a giant camp, then two of the dragons, a giant, a thalmor wizard, and 3 bandits all decided I shouldnt be there, so they promptly attack me.... Is it just me or is this a reason to stop and think?

You usng a mod, Wars in Skyrim does some crazy things like that.

In vanilla Skyrim I fought two dragons once at a low level but three, man thats extreme with the bandits and the Thalmor.

Sounds like a blast man! Most I ever had was two dragons and a giant, after that encounter I always have a buddy with me and I watch my back more then I used to.

I have a VERY glitchy copy of skyrim, for example: traveling the reach, finding a fort, killing all the forsworn outside, then they just respawn from out of the walls if I wait for an hour.

What happened? Did you defeat them all in a glorious battle? :P

That's kind of hilarious. I was playing Skyrim while reading this and a few of the thalmor walked by. I killed them by normal but then *2* dragons came out of nowhere and next thing I know, I see a bandit.
Hopefully I don't seen a giant next.

Yes and no. Killed a dragon and a thalmor, then got crushed by a giants club.

Not if your level 44, but had not saved since level 18, that kind of thing makes you want to hate dying.

You need to learn how to save... I would have been furious!

Wars in Skyrim looks a little to crazy for my taste, I do not want the game to be a battlefield.

After an update, Spawns can multiply for the first few game days. It has to do with the game putting a spawn in place, then after the patch, adding more spawns to the same place without removing the ones already there. Back in the Beta when we were getting a patch update each day, or near to it, I had a few battles with multiple enemies. Not with two dragons at once, but I did have back to back dragons. I think the most in one battle was about 10 enemies.

Things like this settle down after a few game days. So, either enjoy them while they happen, or wait somewhere for 73 hours to get normal spawns again.
