This is the third time forced updates has hosed a level 40+ save game for me. You've cured me of any interest in purchasing any other game that requires Steam or using Steam as a DD service.

As for the specific issue I'm having? As I look around a room or outdoors the video will wash completely white or go completely black depending on the direction I look. In some cases the video flickers, again it comes and goes depending on the direction I'm looking. Before someone tells me to update my AMD drivers, I have an Nvidia card.

I will go through the process of verifying I have updated drivers (which were working just fine pre-patch), removing mods (which were working just fine pre-patch) and attempt to get a new game running again. But I wanted to let you know that if frustrates me to no end that this game patches even when I have the 'do not patch this game' set in my Steam account. I don't know or care who's issue that is, but it needs to be fixed. I want to decide when I patch my game (i.e. when I start a new character). I play a character over the course of several weeks and shouldn't have to keep Steam off-line in order to prevent the game from updating. Heck, I don't even want mods to update if I could figure out how to prevent that.

Assuming I get the game running again, and this happens again, I'll be uninstalling this !#$!@ and mailing my dVd back to you.
