Not really sure what direction they'd take it. I mean Trinity is dead, Morpheus is dead.. WTF can they do? Introduce a bunch of new characters? The secondary characters from 2 and 3 weren't exactly great.

To be honest I would prefer if they could make two films based off of the "second Renaissance" as it's known in the little Matrix lore there is. I loved the animated versions that were on the animatrix, but I also think they could be adapted to some awesome movies. Even better they have nothing to do with anyone from the original trilogy.

But it seems that this thread was much ado about nothing anyway, seeing as it's all been a hoax...

He was excellent as Hamlet, and I also liked his performance in "The Gift".
The MAAN role was a minor part.

Also, thank goodness a hoax, I don't think I could stomach another Matrix, and I like Reeves.
I think my favorite movies by him has to be the Replacements, and My Own Private Idaho.
