I just did all the quests for Arniel in college of winterhold,Gotta say that was kinda fun.
And now i have keening,And he sounded suprised that i could weild it,but he can weild it too.And yeah you know what happens if you have completed this quest.
I Guess everyone can use it becouse it got disenchanted or something? I am still confused,what happened to keening? And is there any way to Recharge it? :/
Still cool that keening is in the game.
And i know you need wraithguard etc to weild keening.So this was a suprise for me.

Yep, I was excited to see it as well... but I couldn't figure out why it was worth only 9 gold. Friggin ridiculous.

But it's still a one of a kind ancient artifact, and a major icon of Morrowind. You'd figure especially since Morrowind is mostly obliterated it might even be worth more?

Whatever the forge can crap out for you in 3 seconds is worth more than that? I don't get it.

i think its more an easter egg than an actual weapon. hang it on your wall and think of morrowind!

I'd believe your easter egg theory if it weren't directly involved in a quest. Kinda hard to miss, unless you avoid the college altogether.

I'm still trying to figure out what Arniel is for after the quest. Anyone know? It doesn't speak or anything. At least mine doesn't.

Is he suppose to be like a Conjured up follower or something? Or is he just a novelty to look at?

Keening is bugged, the number of charges is set to 0, so you can't recharge it.

When I did the quest, it was bugged as heck for me, I had Barbas barking the whole time, Drevis Neloran kept telling me I had to leave, and the weirdest part was Arniel didn't even use Keening in his experiment, he somehow got a hold of a draugr greatsword and used it instead of Keening and it still worked
