OK, just like the title says. Anytime I get near quarry junction where Melissa is camped out a Deathclaw kills her and I instantly fail "Oh My Papa", and " Don't Make a Beggar of Me", and I havent even started them yet. It happened once yesterday when I was actually in Quarry Junction. So I just reloaded and killed the Deathclaw before it got to her. But today it happened again, and I was in Goodsprings where all the radscorpions are collecting glands to give to Ruby Nash. I didnt even see it happen, but I checked my map and I could tell that just over the hill was quarry junction and the great khan encampment. I had a red blip, so I know that something was over the hill. So all I can think of is trying to reload again, fast travel to quarry and kill all the deathclaws there for the 3rd time!!! Hoping that she will live long enough for me to get around to those quests. Anyone else had this happen? And if so what did you do? Ill post back later after trying to clear out the quarry again. (Gotta love the anti-material rifle!!!)

If you enter through Quarry Junction there is also a rear entrance full of deathclaws so I cleared the quarry and then the open space behind the back quarry entrance.
