hi everyone, simple question: just wanted to know do the khajiit camps actually move from city to city or just sit there?

The Khajiit caravans do move from city to city, I saw some of the caravans traveling when I was on the road.

They move in real time. I came across a caravan getting stomped repeatedly by a giant,, lucky for them they were essential, I'm sure all three kneeling down almost dying slowed their arrival at the next town.

You can encounter 4 Kajiits on the road. Two of them are hired guards and two traders. These are the so called 'caravans'.

In a couple of dungeons populated by bandits and in one location in the wild you may stumble upon one cart with an empty chest on it and several dead kajiit around. Supposely, these are Kajiits traders kidnapped and killed by the bandits

It's nothing special, really, just a group of Khajiit running down the road. I've bumped into them along the road a few times, and you can still buy/sell with the one who is the vendor (I've seen 2 caravans, one headed by Ahkari and another headed by Ri'saad--I don't know if there are any others). If you can catch up to them. Khajiit run fast.

There are three caravans in total, Ri'saad's, Ahkari's, and Ma'dran's. Ri'saad goes from Markarth to Whiterun back and forth. Ahkari goes from Dawnstar to Riften. And finally Ma'dran goes from Windhelm to Solitude. They can also stop anywhere along the way including at other cities and campsites. Hope this helps or if nothing else sates your curiosity.

There's at least one quest for a member of a Khajiit caravan (Ahkari's IIRC). Once you have the item, you can see the quest marker moving with the caravan on the map.
