My Khajiit wants to get into the city !

Post » Fri Jun 15, 2012 2:05 am

Hello everybody !

So the DLC trailer and now the information are out. ( I'm super excited by the way )
I'm planning to begin a Khajiit character now and re create my main Orc when it comes out.

But how do I get my Khajiit into the cities ( in RP means of course ) ?
I mean , there are NO Khajiit inside the walls , and I'm not sure I will use the Dragonborn excuse ( I'm not sure if I'll make him Dragonborn at all ).

Wear a mask and tuck your tail into your pants ("Yes ladies, i'm just that big!") Don't speak, or use magic to mask your voice into somthing else, and for Talos sake, don't meow!

Lol, you can RP a disguise. That would be awesome!

Just make sure the guards don't see your tail as you walk in.

Also, Riften does not have problem with khajiit. You would be welcome there.

Yes, you can use a disguise. But I think armors dont hide the tale... or they do? If dont... that is a problem!

That is what robes are for.

I never played a Kajiit (and I never will) so I dont know that :P
So he can use a monk disguise, or a mage disguise and just sweep in.

Just play the game as it is and allow your character to enter cities that don't have walls. :)

Also you can hide till starting the main quest or a big event, so you will feel "accepted"

Sure. No Kahjiit are accepted... but you are the one bringing the news of Helgen disaster. Not any Kahjiit.

Spoiler
Rush in bringing news to Whiterun, they'll make an exception for you. Then once you get on the Jarl's good side they'll have to accept you, then once you're revealed to be dragon born everyone just has to deal with a cat who can do whatever they please, wherever they please.

"Bribe" the guards to give you a "temporary writ of passage" by putting some gold in a container every time you enter a walled city.

Maybe the Khajiit just doesn't care if he gets pestered. Maybe he's a performance artists when he isn't adventuring.

Say you have a special contact in the cities (perhaps through whatever faction you join) who allows you to come in (perhaps they are a thane or work in the palace) and then just keep your head down until you start to help out a little bit around town and people accept you.

Khajitt are believed to be too fond of things that aren't theirs and have a knack of taking them for safekeeping

Because they all group together outside at night and meow, they are a friggin' disturbance to the peace.

Heh... there's only one reason they'd be doing that. And since there's no red light districts in Skyrim, just throw a boot at 'em. That'll shut 'em up.
