KhajiitArgonianElven kids?

Post » Wed Jun 13, 2012 8:24 am

There's nord/Breton/Imperial children in the game but no beast or elven races kids, I'd love it if these were added, would make it realistic. (I know humanoids are the dominant race seen in most towns in Skyrim but would still be cool)

What do people think?

I think this was a mistake not showing beast races kids. At least one per race would have been so nice to see.

I think there aren't enough people of those races you mentioned to have this as a problem. But I think it's a big lack that we have no Orc-kids at Strongholds.

It would have been nice. However, when you look at previous TES games, it's a big step up to actually HAVE children in the game.

All the children that are in the game look the same, so I assume the Argonian and Khajiit children would have been Nords with tails. Better wait till next time, maybe they put more effort into races and differentiation.

I thought all the Children were only Nords, unless you can tell that some are Imperials and / or Bretons.

but yes, I think it'd be awesome seeing Beast and Elven Kids running about :)

The only problem with Argonian kids is that there are approximately 5 or so Argonians in the game.. none married that I can think of.
Same with Khajiit, but there are definately more Khajiits then Argonians. I would definately like to see a kitten  (Atleast in the Khajiit Caravan).
Elves are ok, but I don't want to see baby Thalmor running around... eww :yuck:
Since High Elves are so smart they're probably bullied in schools for being nerds... Then they grow up and get revenge..

Would've been nice to have some Orc and Elf kids around. And some Khajiit kittens running with the caravans.

This was actually one of the first things I wanted to do when the Creation Kit came out, but unlike in Oblivion, the ears aren't a seperate model- everything's rolled into one.

I know right? Basically all the kids are nords, even her. Just because shes labeled a redguard, they [censored] on that one. Shes the same damn girl from riverwood and all the other nord settlements.

Is a nord, imperial, redguard, breton child really going to look that much different than a normal human child? The only real difference between these are overall build and skin color. Build wouldn't be that obvious yet on a child. Well and whether they resist frost, magic, etc. but we can't attack them to see what they resist so we can't check.

It would be cool to see dark elf children running in the grey quarter, a kitten with the traveling merchants, and an elven child at the embassy.

There's 22 Argonian NPC's in the game, and 28 Khajiit NPC's in which more than half of them end up dying and / or have a really small role.
To me it seem's like there's more Argonians from how little you actually see Khajiit :|

Personally, I think Dunmer children would be absolutely adorable. I can just imagine some little Dunmer urchins with oversized ears and big, red eyes running around the Grey Quarter, beating up some of those snotty Nords kids.

The Khajiit caravans need a little basket of kittens in the tent or something.

Edit: Eep, :ninja:'d by Noxious.

Yeah, the human kids would look like regular human kids, but the ones in game kind of all look like they share the same father. :P

There are actually more Argonians and Khajiits as bandits and random people on wilderness than there are Bosmers and Altmers.

That might get a little wierd - after all, if you start seeing little argonian/khajit/elf/human halfbreeds in the game, I guarantee you someone will build a mod of Forsworn with white hoods...... :-(

In Solitude Beirand, the blacksmith, is married to a Redguard and they have a son. The son looks no different than any other boy. They do need to work on the appearance of the NPCs.

But yeah, maybe more family time, see some nords doing a polar dip, wood elves fathers and their sons doing archery, Orcs butchering villages and animals... FAMILY DAY!
