Kill Animation Proccing

Post » Sat Jun 16, 2012 2:54 am

So I have been looking around the web trying to get info on how to get killcams to trigger more often.

I really didn't want to post and ask, but it seems the places that I am looking at are giving conflicting info.

Can power attacks trigger killcams?
Do critical hits give you an auto killcam?
Can off hand strikes give you killcams?
Do enchanted weapons decrease your chance at getting a killcam?
Are there any killcams for mounted combat?
----
Also, if anyone has any tips on how to achieve more killcams, I would be more than happy to hear them.

My apologies if anyone greatly dislikes the feature, I can understand why you do. I just haven't really gotten many,
even after playing for so long. So please give me a break about your opinion on the matter, I am just looking into
how to get more of the animations, and or the hard numbers from the system that dictates their trigger.

Thanks guys =)

P.S- I know my first post being about how to get killcams looks bad. /casual /noob /gobacktoCoD etc etc.

1. Yes.
2. Don't think so.
3. Don't understand question.
4. If they have a lasting damage effect
5. Never tried mounted combat.

all they need to do is release a patch that puts a kill anime freqency slider in the options menu some people want 100% some want 75% some want 50% some want 25% and some want 0% super easy
iam a 75% kill animation so 3 out of 4 kills would be a kill camera

It's not that simple, Kill-cams are only able to trigger if it's the last hostile within a certain area. The game won't trigger a killcam on the first enemy in a huge wave, that'd just wind up getting the player killed.

Haha yeah, there are times I don't want to see the cams either. I was surprised when I found out they didn't have a toggle function on it
like they did in the fallout games. And the slider idea is an even better example, I think I would be a 75% too.

Then after a couple of days, I would be a 0%!

Its funny how that works...

Also thanks Criminal Scum, I didn't know it worked like that.

When the enemy reaches a certain point of health, around 1/16th, 1 of 2 things occur. If there are still enemies around, you are attacking at an improper angle, or you don't have the correct perks they will go into a downed crawling state, and from there, if they become the last enemy remaining, there is a very very small chance you will get a animation while they are down.
If they are the last enemy standing, and the strike occurs at the right angle, you get an animation. The best way to get the decapitation is to stand directly facing them and without moving, do a power attack. To get killmoves regularly, and i have this to the point where I can get kill move 90% of the time on the final enemy, flick the stick on the controller forward and attack. The direction of movement will determine the animation shown.
And you can only get kill animations if they are the only enemy currently engaging you.
