Kill Move Mod

Post » Sun May 27, 2012 9:48 am

I see there a several different kill move mods out now and I'm wondering which one works the best? By that I mean, has the fewest amount of problems and issues and actually works most of the time?

Thanks in advance.

The Dance of Death

http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=10906

best of the best of the best at the moment

applied for 1.5 patch which alot of others arent (like killmove +)

and a highly responsive mod creator.

Second for Dance of Death. It works great with the latest patch, killmoves are frequent but not every single kill, though it's adjustable. I used to use Killmove+ but it hasn't been updated in awhile, so it didn't work too well with the latest patch. I think it also accidentally disabled the backstab throat slit animation, though I'm not sure.

Dance of Death is good indeed, you can not go wrong there. But after having tried Dance of Death i found out that i prefer to have all stable killmoves handy, and not getting them unlocked. So personally i prefer to use this Killmove mod...

lolz because it didnt used to be that way the origional release of it was that the perks were forced I believe. and then after he released it to have the perk restriction be choosable it wasnt realyl brought up so it was probably passed along by more than a few people :)

I actually downloaded Dance of Death earlier, but I haven't tried it out yet. I've been using Advanced Killmoves (AKM) for a long time, but it's too buggy. The last version of AKM that seemed stable was 1.4d. It's up to 1.7b right now, but I've tried all versions of it and it breaks at times (killmoves being interrupted, etc).

I hope DoD works as intended.

@porsha

TDoD works quite well itsl ike the evolved form of Killmoves + before the magic and Archery patch that broke it. and its really expansive (the newest patch added Werewolf Killmoves into the fold) it also has a very attentive Mod creator who is there to help :) always a plus.

Well it sounds exactly like AKM with the werewolve killmoves and author who's always responding to the crowd! I just hope it's stable :D

So far, so good.

Keeping DoD for now.

I just wish someone would make/fix (if possible) first-person archery cams. The third-person killcam still svcks and breaks.

@Porsha

Unfortunately thats a Limited fix same with Magic cams both of which arent supported by CK or anything known in the INI as far as I know therefore fixing/fiddling/removing them seems quite unlikely at this point until we get some support with just what they are using.
