To Kill or Not to Kill: Cicero

Did you kill Cicero? Why?

I left him alive because old school brotherhood is way cooler than Astrids "eventually we hear about it" brotherhood.

I killed him. He attacked my brother. Astrid may have been a terrible leader, but the rest of them weren't bad.

Plus, he was insane. He wanted to be listener. He wanted to be me. If he attacked Astrid because he wanted her role, what was going to stop him from doing the same to me if I let him live?

That and his naked corpse makes a nice decoration for our Sanctuary.

LOL. Every time I step on his cold dead body, I think about how insane he was to think he could kill me and replace me as the listener.....

He just creeps me the hell out. I haven't decided if I'm going to kill him or not. I wouldn't want to kill him but he's so damn creepy. So I think I will.

Honestly, the cicero quest dialogue in the Dawnstar sanctuary was the most entertaining and interesting in the game. I let him live, because the world is more interesting with him in it.

Edit: I did shoot him in the knee, though. Now's he's a guard in the sanctuary.

let him live. id have attacked the brotherhood myself and taken over as leader had i been given the option. they all accepted astrids ways and for that, they deserved death.

also, even astrid admitted that his insanity is forgiven. he is the keeper. he keeps watch over the night mother who NEVER speaks to him. anyone taking care of a corpse is likely to be insane anyway. anyone taking care of a spirit in a corpse that leads your beloved cult (DB is a cult) but never speaks to you, insanity is pretty much guaranteed.

what i liked about cicero is that he respected the old ways. he understood that the current DB is a mess and needs to change. how he went about it might have been a bit silly though.

I guess I more let him live because I just can't stand astrid. She acts like the manager of mcdonalds on a power trip. Like I said "eventually we hear about it" is no way to run a brotherhood
