Killcams & sneak tree

Post » Thu May 31, 2012 3:58 pm

I played Skyrim for ps3 before they patched the game to 1.4 & up. I noticed once I put a point into the sneak tree I would no longer stab the enemy in the back or preform any kill cam moves what so ever other than the throat slicing them from behind. But before I would put a point into the sneak tree I would stab them in the back usually from behind even in stealth. But my main question is, If I make a sneaky character will I be able to preform normal kill cam moves? With the current patch installed? Cause we all know there is times fighting head on is unavoidable eventually. By the way I have the game for the PC now, But afraid if I put even 1 point into the Sneak tree that I will never be able to stab them in the back when behind them standing. That's why I'm wandering if it was intended that way or a bug of the previous versions?

I think it is random but don't quote me. Personally i think the neck slit should only happen with dagger longer blades should hold the back stab. Nothing like watching two swords go in the back and out the front lifting the target up a foot and then slopping him down to the ground. I use the warglaive mod and it looks ridiculous when my character does a neck slice....how would you not see those things coming?

Some one doing something else & not paying total attention maybe lol? It would make sense, I also dislike how you throat slice with swords instead of stabbing them in the back. I tested it even with a point in the sneak tree you still can stab them in the back when they're low health. Seems to be the only way now a days so unfair.
