I killed Caesar - ruined game?

Post » Fri Feb 18, 2011 10:15 pm

I was looking for evidence for Regis (Greats Khans) and couldn't believe it when it was leading me right into Caesar's tent.

I'd already pissed them off so it was either no evidence OR i wipe out all of Caesars camp including Caesar.

I don't know whether to save it or not.

Will the main story register the death or not? I mean, they're supposed to be "the big bad evil army" and they just got wiped out for a book. The book is actually proof to stop the Khans joining Caesar, but now they're all dead...

Ummm - to save or not to save?

You've not broken the game or the main quest, no. That's the magic of this game unlike Fallout 3 or Oblivion - you can kill seemingly important characters FOR REALS and the game will continue.

There is a third option: Pop a stealthboy, sneak in, and steal the book. Make sure you enter the tent while sneaking though.

A disguise should be enough to get you close to Caesar's tent.

It will register Caesar's death, yes. It won't derail the story though. It will certainly change your ending slides.
