ok so i was at the palace and this mean man was talking to me like i was a trash bucket so i did the right thing and killed him and left him lay in his undies now im trying to platie skyrim and cannot complete the solitude thieves guild special quest because there is no way to bring him back y have a npc die that easy if so important but u let other crap npcs live so is there anyway besides restarting from an old save because he was dead when i was level 15 now im level 56 last trophie and [snip]

Ok here is the answer you are going to have to restart svcks to be you also again Morrowind you would of never survived everyone died and if u messed with any person in that game you would of messed something up in any quest line

Twenty dollars would be a pretty good deal for a game that came out not even 3 months ago. And you would refuse to buy anymore games from an entire company because of something so trivial? This person is "so important"? Its an optional quest in an optional guild, and has no bearing on the main quest. And if the "right thing" is to kill everyone who insults you, well I'd have to kill almost every guard and plenty of townspeople.

That being said, you are simply out of luck if he's dead. You can't just go around killing anyone who says something you don't like and expect not to screw something up for later.

Erikur is essential it shouldn't be possible to kill him, your obviously confusing Erikur with someone else.

^ I think that the OP is a bad troll. Almost EVERY NPC in the game that is related, even ever so slightly, to a quest is marked essential.

Load an earlier save and then spare us whatever language you're trying to speak on the forums. Furthermore, you can't kill Erikur on the PS3 version.

To the OP: Wah wah wah wow you hate the game that much that you got to level 56 and now you b**** moan and complain about one stinking trophy and I'm on a 360 and have to do a second playthrough because I realized too late that I need to kill a priest of mara because i need to get the skull of corruption so I can have that achievement for getting all of the daedric artifacts because I refused to kill the priest of mara because i wanted to actually role play this time by the way you never would have survived morrowind either because if you killed the wrong person you broke quests and i made sure that i never killed anyone unless i had a quest that involved doing that or that they had a generic tag of "bandit" or "a**hole" on them svcks to be you so you miss out on one trophy because of this also in oblivion you could have done the same but at least you got prompted that the character would break a quest but in reality this shows you that like in real life you just don't run around killing people because they insult you and make you mad because that stuff just makes your life miserable and not just that but makes others lives miserable.

NOTE TO REST OF BOARD: unpunctuated to make a point. Sometimes the essential tag doesn't work on consoles. Sometimes it's there when it shouldn't be.

Also missing out on that Skull of Corruption and role playing that freed me to actually enjoy and role play the rest of this playthrough without worrying about achievements. If they unlock, they unlock. If not? Oh well. I still have gotten my $60 value out of the game.

Wow OP way to make us PS3 players look bad stupid tool. and stop saying your going to kill everybody you obviously have anger managment issues cause you cant handle insults from a dam NPC let alone an online forum.

My Advice trade your PS3 for a Nintendo Wii cause those games hold a more apropriate game rating for you.
