That's what they deserve after ordering around the Dragonborn -- their leader, to whom they are supposed to show great loyalty.

Once the CK comes out, I'll be removing their 'essential' tag, and then demonstrating to them just who's in charge around here.

It is in the spoiler section, but that doesn't mean there should be spoilers in the title. Not only does it make it difficult for people to avoid, but it shows up in the forum index when it's first posted and when it's the most recently replied too thread.

If they're essential now, just let it be. You never know what might develop from them in an expansion or dlc, or if there might be a more creative way of ridding yourself of them (or alternatively, teaming up further). At the very least, make a save game that keeps them around, and another to screw around with.

Since this thread been moved to the spoilers section I guess I am free to say that if you plan to do what I did on the video be prepaired to get a bunch of guards up your ass in whiterun. They were up mine and I had to get out to nap for a good soild 24 hours before things went back to being normal again.

Yeah, they really are an irritating pair. When Delphine said that unless I killed Paarthanax, the Blades weren't going to help me again, I'd love an option to slap Delphine and tell her: "You are sworn to serve the Dragonborn, Delphine. You and all the Blades. You'd still be hiding in your backwater inn from the Thalmor if I hadn't jumped through all the hoops you put me through. You wouldn't have this secluded temple, hidden from the rest of the world and the Thalmor to rebuild the Blades. The Blades would still be limited to you and Esbern if I hadn't brought willing recruits to you. So do not think to order me around. I am the Dragonborn, and you are sworn to serve me. I am not your lapdog".

I actually took my weapon out and smashed Delphines face in and sent her sprawling onto the floor once she delievered that ultimatum to me. I couldn't kill her, though; I've got the 360 version, so I couldn't remove her essential status.

My next target after Alduin is those two. If I can't kill them, I'll sure as [censored] blow them off the mountain.

that would be awesome for a mod, have that as an option and having saying that u go into fistfight mode and after ya kick her ass shes ok i relent ur the boss, we wont go after the dragon and then skip the the whole "thank you for killing paar" speech part and go straight to what was after it.
