As the title says, i kind of want Dark Souls more than Skyrim.
I have been avoiding the review and videos for it because i knew this would happen but i caved today. I caved.
It looks so awesome!!!!
This is pretty much a question to those that have played AND LIKE Dark Souls, is it any good?
I want both but only have the money for one.

P.s: Dont post Dark Souls hate here. I'm looking for valid reasons to get or to not get it. Please and Thank you.

Kinda wrong forum but.. Dark Souls is Great (imo) and Skyrim is also gonna be great. Very different games. Getting them both.

Played it, Its not as great as IGN makes it out to be, I'd much rather TES than that "thing"

Jeez! Are these games alike in ANY way? Is Dark Souls an open first person RPG? I'm not aware that it is.
If I was this guy, I wouldn't have come here with this info, as it just looks like trolling.

I honestly think the two games are chalk and cheese. Skyrim will be an open world RPG with a multitude of gameplay choices that include reckless abandon for the main quest, whilst Dark Souls is a heavily pre defined but well structured RPG focussing on combat and reflex / skill.

Skyrim is more my cup of tea, but everyone is different :biggrin:
