i'm new to the whole online playing i do some with friends on black ops but only the zombies and i want to get into it more...i have been following brink for over a year..wanted to ask what should i know..i am shopping for a new wireless mic and i would like to find out more about the "clans" that are out there..any info would be helpful thanks in advance

PC, PS3, Xbox 360?

It makes a difference even when there's no discernible difference between the versions of the game.

Well, first, it'd be nice to know what platform you plan on playing on.

It'd help if you get friends to play with you, so those first scary steps into online shooting isn't that bad.


You can also play singleplayer until you get used to it. Brink's Singleplayer isn't like other FPSes - You're playing the real multiplayer maps but with AI. Smart AI, not like the CoD AI that stand still and shoot you. I'm talking about the kind of AI that defend you, heal you, attack objectives on thier own, flank the enemy, all that. They don't rely on you, and they're good enough most people can't tell the difference between Brink's AI and actual people playing.

The best part? No one yelling at you tell you "you svck". All the fun experience of multiplayer, minus the friends and the jerks.


Also, tell this to any of your friends who isn't sure about buying Brink - If they like it, they'll have fun on Brink, and that's another friend for you to play with. Win-win!

Hey bud. Ok someone is going to give you a :turtle: and a brink bible shortly, it kind of our welcome to newcomers here. I'd do it, but have no idea how to link the Brink bible. In it you'll find everything you'll need to know about the game itself. As for clans, there is a giant list of them in the red section as you enter this forum labeled: Brink fansites, clans, tournaments, and forums. So you can find your area and email those clans for more advice. As for the wireless mic, I have no idea. I'm sure someone can help you there. Gluck.

I think Brink would be a good game to start delving into the FPS genre, its creators, Splash Damage, have made really good shooters, top tier. When you play a Splash Damage game, it makes all other shooters seem horrible.

well when i was into fighting i use to be know as the end all which turned into Omega and i am a juggalo so it turned into omegalo and i never thought about megalo part of it and my user id on ps3 is drb326
