Hey guys,

first of all I want to apologize for opening a new thread, instead of just using the "general bug reporting thread", but because I want to report a major bug which is a huge problem for german skyrim players, who use Kinect, I think it is the right thing to do.


So here is the problem, simple and plain: German Kinect Dragon Shouts do not work. Not at all.


While the Kinect support for my german language version of Skyrim works perfectly with all other commands (Quickmap, equip spells, sort objects etc.), dragon shouts just do not work. So when I press the bumper for the dragon shout, I can see the little "dragon head" in the upper right corner of my screen, which means that Kinect is waiting for my shout. But whatever I do (and no, I am not shouting), no matter if I use the german names of the shouts, or if I use the dragon language, it will not understand a single shout. I am very, very sure that this is not my fault, because as I said before, the other voice commands are all working very well for me.

I read in a few german gaming forums, and a lot of people have the same problem. Of course I can not guarantee that this bug really shows up for ALL players who use Kinect with the german version of Skyrim, but however, a lot of people are affected.

I just bought Kinect a few days ago, so that I could use it with Skyrim, mainly of course for the dragon shouts. You can probably understand that this bug disappoints me a bit. Now, if I use Kinect with Skyrim, if I am in a fight and want to use a shout, I have to pause the game, deactivate Kinect support, use the shout, pause the game again, and reactivate Kinect support. You will probably agree that this is not an optimal solution.

I do not even really want to complain, because it is great that Bethesda built in Kinect support even after the game launched, so all I would like to say is: Please be so nice and find & fix this bug, so that dragon shouts also work with the german version of Skyrim! Thank you a lot in advance!
