I know where my damn room is!

Is it just me or does this ruin immersion slightly for some? When asking a bartender if you can rent a room for the night, and they walk you all the way to your room, now i dont want to ruin immersion by running straight past them (i have only done this a few, tempered times), so i play along and follow them, but the bit that ruins immersion is that the bartenders dont seem to recognize that i have stayed over at the inn multiple times, and i know where my damn room is!

I think, personally Bartenders should show you where it is first time, or first couple times until you become a regular and every other time just say 'You know where the room is'. I know some inns have multiple different rooms i can possible stay in, and the game just randomly chooses one, but would it be so hard to add that little bit of dialouge 'Its the door on the left/right' etc?

What do you guys think?

They have quite a bit of customers, they probably won't remember everyone. Also maybe it is the Inn's policy to provide a friendly atmosphere with a lot of help from the staff.

No I like that. It's just good service.

Not to mention if you go to an inn you might end up in a different room as yours might be taken, the bartender is just letting you know that's the one you've to sleep in.

I think that would be a nice thing implemented. There are other script AI reactions that are only activated at the first meeting. This could have been easily done.

I like that they show me to my room,it shows they care enough to personally escort me to my room.

I like to think that if I have become a regular customer that we chat with each other along the way,you know things like it's good to see you again or something.

Or after you pay for it, they could say 'WOULD you like me to show you to your room?'. That way we could keep the option in, if we felt like slowing things down and immersing a bit, and if we were in a rush just say no and look around the beds until you find yours xD

I wish they would clean up the Inn in Ivarstead.Every time I go there, there is cast iron pots on the floor along with eggs and whatever else that used to be on the tables.

Lynly Starsung should actually put her broom to use instead of just going through the motions.
Anybody else have that problem there?

What's really odd is when you run ahead of them, go to sleep, and then wake up with them standing there in your room.

I wish that they didn't always give you the same room. Have travelers take up space every now and then so you don't get the same room. Even better, have the inn booked solid so you have to sleep in the streets.
