Lack of unique weapons and armor.

Anyone else think there is a lack of unique outfits/armor, weapons, and misc stuff in this game? In the guide, the unique items section is like half of a page, if that. One of the things I really enjoyed in FO3 was going on scavanges to find all these special items. What also amazes me is the fact that there is no unique black ranger armor (like on the cover) anywhere. In fact the only way to obtain it is by killing one of the rangers, or finding one dead. Don't get me wrong, I want it to be rare, but one unique one somewhere would be nice.

if you are a pc gamer you can get some mods. It doesnt really solve the problem with the developement of the game, but perhaps it can entertain you further. I like ninja costumes and throwing knives at ppls heads.

there's many unique things in the game. plus you can get the black armor in the game... although they don't just hand you this stuff on a silver plate.

why don't you go on the wikia and see for yourself.

I agree that there isn't enough unique items and some of those we get are pretty useless like Paladin Toaster.
Would love more unique weapons being placed out in the main map as a bonus with the DLC's.

I will say that in New Vegas the unique weapons compared to the ones in fallout 3, actually look unique. Fallout 3, they just had a different name and stats for the most part.

+1 to that

And I don't know that a ton of unique weapons is necessarily good anyways. If there's a unique weapon that comes out of every other quest it really cheapens it don't you think?

edit:

And don't you think weapon mods kinda add to the unique weapons list in a roundabout way?
