I am trying to do the Debt Collector quest. I went into the Broc Flower cave and made it to where the brahmin was usually located but there is no brahmin there, even though the map indicator says I am standing right on top of it.

I've did this quest in the past and had no problems finding the brahmin and completing the quest. This time, I went into the Broc Flower cave earlier in the game before accepting the Debt Collector quest and noticed no brahmin. I thought after I accepted the quest the brahmin would be there, but no.

Does anyone know a work around so that I can complete this quest?

Maybe that's the problem. Maybe you should accept the quest first, then look for the brahmin. Either that, or raise your speech and barter skill, or take the lady killer perk so you don't have to look for the brahmin.

I was down that way for another quest and thought I would stop in at the Broc Cave to get Ratslayer. Funny thing is, I remember there were at least two dead brahmin outside of the cave near the water hole. They weren't there. I also remember there was a dead prospector inside the cave on the lower level just before you enter the room with the radioactive water. He wasn't there either.

Does anyone know if there Is a console command to mark a quest complete? I might need it.
