I think you misunderstood them, the lag is so bad the game is unplayable.

Ihave been playing all day and I have only found three or four games that were laggy.
I backed out of them right away and tried again thats all you really can do.
When you get into a lag free match its really fun but other than that I have no clue what to tell y'all,

Do your home work eat dinner and try it again. I've had very little lag since 5pm eastern.

well if you remember Playstation network is down as well so those 77 to 100 million people are in and out of xbox live servers now as well and honestly no its not a huge CoD release but i know that at my game stops midnight release 240 people showed up to get thier copy only 150 showed up at Black ops and 190 at MW2 so dont under eastimate Brink just yet

Right, and people who complain about paying $60+ for a game and not being able to properly play it for at least a day as you seem to think is the appropriate time, automaticly makes them whiney children who don't deserve to play the game at all. Honestly you sound more like the whiney child here than anyone else because obviously you have no concept of money like an advlt would if you don't think shelling out $60+ for something and then not being able to use it is a rip off. My guess is that mommy and daddy paid for the game for you and you were lucky enough to not get a ton of lag when you played. Well good for you little boy, have fun.

Yep a lot of lag issues when I play on Brink today... I hope they will fix it as soon as possible.

i bought the game on ps3 and yet to find out if i'll lagg or not, maybe by the time PSN is back up the problem will be fixed, anyways right now i've been playing singleplayer and no problems at all, lol im actually surprised its that challenging, i've played games where its like im a god fighting chickens, this is like.. well.. a challenge on this game except its not all that hard as it seems when you get used to it lol, anyways i also got a redeem code with my ps3 brink but to my luck the code was for steam not ps3 :brokencomputer: so i called ebgames and now i gotta wait for their higher up's to figure out to send me a ps3 redeem code now lol

Love how a couple of people are hoping Bethesda fixes the lag hehe. Bethesda published the game, not developed. SD will be the ones to fix it

On a more serious note: yes the game can be laggy to unplayability.

i have yet to play a single match that wasnt completely unplayable due to lag. this is a problem, and its a major one. essentially i just bought the worlds most terrible frisbee (till it is patched at least).

I made an account just to add to these guys already complaining on the lag, please fix it, ive only had one good match the rest im doing solo and it svcks.

the 360 version just needs an update, the devs should have seen these problems coming up anyway, the core game is great, it just needs some polish

Same problems with major lag on the 360.. will have little spurts of time where lag isnt bad and then seems to go insane game would be fun if i could play it without rubber banding all over.

I just made a new account to say that the gameplay is amazing and I love what you guys have done, but please fix the lag. Like 6/10 games are unplayable. I have to keep quiting and joining until I find one that is not laggy. A party system would be nice, but fixing lag should be priority #1.

My issues were very bad at first this afternoon EST but did seem to clear up when I tried again around 430pm and played a good 5 hrs with very solid connections and pretty smooth gameplay. My first match back after taking breaks usually started off with issues but then migrated to a new host during the match and then was fine. No problems with consecutive games played after finding a good host, which didn't take much doing typically.
Again, it was very bad this afternoon, but did seem to get better this evening around 5pm until I stopped playing around 10pm.

Good news is you don't know what you're talking about. That patch you got when you first started playing was a pre-release patch. It was for problems they noticed between going gold and launch. Not a 'we have the best service and fixed launch problems already' patch.
