So im at the bit where you need to open the door by turning off the gas. Where is the gas valve that i need to turn off? Ive been looking for at least half an hour and im still stumped. Anyone know what to do? :brokencomputer:

Theres 3 one by the door you come in,one in the meat room, and one in the kitchen

No in last luxuries, where you are in the area where there is a hologram called starlet hologram. I have already got rid of the gas in the mission with dog/god, this is the one with christine

O that door is locked you have to find a diff way around just keep looking you'll find the path to her

Theres another door in the area, but i need a key for it... argh this is sooo irritating.

Half of this DLC seems to be finding keys, going and hacking into computers, dodging holograms, running from radios that kinda crap :sadvaultboy:

I could be wrong but I seem to remember using a shut off valve outside of the three Dog leaks.. and am pretty sure it was in a kitchen as you walk in a door almost directly in front of you.. I could be wrong though.. at this point in the DLC I just wanted to get it done and go back to the Wasteland so I was rushing through it..

I don't remember Christine being even remotely hard to get to in the suites though.. so maybe you're trying too hard and just overthinking it..

No im trapped in this one area, not shut off valve which i can see. Did you have 50 science skill when you did the DLC caus that may explain it. Theres a computer which i cant hack into, a door which needs a key which i cant find, and a door which needs me to shut off the gas for it to open. :banghead:

find the scarlett hologram and then head torward the marker you should make it

Yah.. my science was 100 so I probably got into the terminal and did whatever that might have done to help me through..

I could reload a save and see if I can get through it without using the terminal.. but I'm sure by the time I went through all that either someone else will have the answer or you'll figure it out..

No, i found her, she started shooting at me. i legged it to the marker, but just came to the locked emergency door that says "Door is shut for emergencies. Gas leak in kitchen needs to be shut off." Cept the scarlett [censored] keeps shooting at me if i go into the kitchen, i sneak in when shes away and find nothing. :sadvaultboy:

you have to continue along the corridor and get through doors. Leave the doors you've been through open

Not sure why she's shooting at you, but maybe you had different gameplay and dialogue..

Probably the kitchen I remember shutting a valve off in.. and like I said I think it's down and in front of you as you walk in the door.. along the opposite wall..

LOL, in my last attempt, i got so irritated, i used an entire bar clip on the hologram. That did nothing so i threw a bunch of gas bombs at her. First one exploded and did nothing, second one, she walked over it, i heard the blast and saw the flames and she dissapeared. YAY :celebration: :celebration: :celebration:

Now to open that [censored] door

Well.. I just blew through the Suites in 5 minutes.. and had no need for opening that door. I went in.. found a key in the laundry room that got me through to the other side.. got to Christine.. talked to her.. and then walked back and left the floor.. if you kill Christine it'll probably be the same thing.. you'll just kill her rather than talk to her.. and then head back to the lobby..

That door may not be even openable.. because the "kitchen" I saw on that floor looked nothing like the one I remember the extra valve in.. and there were no valves to shut off to open that door on that floor.. so either it's permlocked, or it comes later after you deal with Dog in the main kitchen after you shut off his valves.. you can go back and access that door.. ?

Either way.. the only key I found was in the laundry room, and only one I needed to finish the floor.. and had no need for that door..

EDIT: I also made sure I didn't use my science or lockpicking skills in order to do so.. there was one easy terminal I used but you should be able to handle that.. and don't remember that it did anything.. the only other one I used was average science skill to shut down the holograms.. it had an option to open a security door but I didn't use it, and don't think it was for the maintenance door..

Also.. it's possible that open security door option on the average terminal opens access to another area.. with a real kitchen.. and that extra valve I remember.. and allows access through that door.. I didn't use it tho because of your science skill.. either way, you don't need that door open to proceed to the next quest..

I spent just about as long before I remembered these things called "Waypoints"...
