That is an interesting take on grenades, and I like that it does limit grenade spamming (to some degree). Although I am dissapointed that it also negates the tactic of double flashing to counter people who are good at turning around as soon as they see a flashbang (ala counter strike).

Maybe or they are updating it. None of the splash damage pages are working.

I had to refresh it like 8 times before it worked, heh. You just got to fight your way in or give it an hour or two.

depends on how the flash mechanic works, in CoD, which they are copying mind you (if only on controls), flashes work irrespective (Brink points) of which direction you are facing and whether or not you are doing "cool midair headshots" (more Brink points).

There are so many different abilities, hopefully it will still be balanced in the end. This is why they should really need a beta, game developers don't always find these little balance differences themselves.

PS: previews*

play dead yes, but im guessing if you keep shooting the dead body (or at least what looks like one) the operative would actually die.

nice. and yeah, it would have to be that way @BellTower, if it was invincible then an operative could just lay there and until the enemy turns around or somethin and then kill em all

Btw, I am haveing serious deja vu. Hasn't this already been in somwhere? Or maybe the considered it for ETQW or something? Somehow I just remember hearing about this. But then I heard how it wasn't going to be any good because devs didn't want players to shoot every dead body they see...

I think you're confusing that with Stun Grenades because I'm pretty sure Flashes only work while you're looking at them, while stuns work from any angle.

Is there even flash bangs in Brink cause I haven't heard anything about those yet and from what I remember didn't see any in the videos.

Just get extra paranoid and shot the corpses, nice and easy. Althought it wouldnt suprise me if another class (medic/operative) can spot when one is playing dead.
