I laughed at the contract of the thugs who attacked me.

It litterally says:
''Here is the agreed upon amount. I expect you to faithfully carry out my request to teach a lesson to the thief Ylva (my character her name). You need not kill her, but I have no qualms about it if you seem it necessary.

--Forsworn Briarheart''

...So i pickpocketed the heart of a forsworn, i saw him die. Then how did he write this? :o

I got a contract on me and didn't even steal anything but was caught picking a couple locks but still I took nothing. I'm innocent.

At the market stalls in Windhelm, the Elven woman selling armors, weapons, potions, just about any and everything, stands behind a very crowded and cluttered booth. Recently, I was trying to talk to her, and wound up stealing something from her stand instead. No reaction.

A bit later, three thugs jumped me, killed 'em, and they had a note from her. I gathered up their gear, headed back to Windhelm, and sold it all to her, and she still had no reaction. But, after that, I go around to the back of the stall so as to avoid any further misunderstandings (unless I'm short on cash, and just want to sell her the thugs equipment, then I steal something and wait....)
