Lay off the Friday movies and fix the game

I was looking all over Obsidian's website for an email or real address to voice my disgust at the just plain broken state of FNV, when I came across the jobs listing for their company. Here are the benefits they list:

Benefits at Obsidian

Being a part of one of the few remaining independent developers in the world creating role-playing games is only the start! Obsidian offers many benefits to its employees:

* Competitive salaries
* Immediate 401k with matching and no vesting periods
* Complete comprehensive employee health coverage, including vision and dental
* Paid vacation, sick leave, holidays and an additional week off during the December holidays
* Sports teams and athletic activities: Obsidian has softball and soccer teams
* A well maintained games, book and DVD library with hundreds of titles available to borrow
* Free bottled water, sodas, coffee, energy drinks and more
* Movie Fridays where the company takes a workday field trip across the street to see the latest and greatest blockbuster movies

Maybe they should have stayed in the offices on Fridays and not put out a broken game in the first place. Maybe less soccer and softball too. One a side note, it sounds like a great place to work and they have lots of openings... if you just want a check and don't care about providing a quality product to your loyal customers.

Really?

If you don't like the game or are unhappy, trade it in and go back to Lego Harry Potter.

LMAO yes because it takes every waking moment to make a game... seriously its like if they took any personal time EVER then their evil!!

hell just looking at that makes me feel the opposite. Seeing they can have fun at work and all the benefits. Thats a company I can see myself being happy working at.

Oh wait they watched a movie every friday that MUST be why the game svcks *rolls eyes*

you know there are laws against 80-hour workweeks... so they have to give them SOME downtime.

Plus I like the idea of a game company actively encouraging consumption of creative media, I'm sure it makes for more inventive workers.

And while we are at it, why the hell are they not being consistently whipped with a steel-tipped cat o' nine tails?

Do you feel movies, book, and DVD library for borrow is a bad thing as well? Yeah, the game has problems, some severe some not. There is no reason that they should be all sequestered in the basemant until things are perfect.

Also, in before lock.

Sounds like a good job perk to me.

Also, I fail to see what job perks have to do with FNV.
