I liked LoK. It was a great game (set of games).

But I can't help but thinking of LoK every time I see the vids of the Vamp Lord in Skyrim. I mean it looks identical to me, does anyone else see it?

What bothers me though is I was hoping for something more original and, since I can only associate we we've seen with another game it just looks out of place in Skyrim. Like some character from another game got lost and ended up in Skyrim somehow.

Does anyone else think it just looks ... odd? Why couldn't it look more like the Succubus in Battlespire? At least that is something more TES familiar.

LOK Blood Omen, the first LoK game is the only true LoK game. It's a brilliant classic that is like an old Zelda with Vamp skills. Just an amazing 2D action RPG, my only complaint is load time and sometimes being stuck on not knowing where to go next (and being stuck because you forgot to do something in an earlier level you already cleared)

Kain doesn't like that lord, actually Kain was jealous of Raziel's Wings so he broke them and sent him to Oblivion
