I've searched for this, but found nothing. I am doing the reunification of Skyrim quest, and as I arrive to the first Imperial camp to get orders from Legate Rikke, a dragon attacks the camp. We kill it, and then Rikke starts to attack me for no reason. I reaload, I thought maybe I accidentally hit her during the battle with the dragon. After the reaload, we kill the dragon (this time I pay attention not to hurt anyone accidentally), and the same, she attack me for no reason. I reload a second time, this time not even drawing a weapont, and letting the Imperials deal with the dragon. Same result. I have no idea why she is attacking me, and even worse, I have no idea how to fix this, and I need to get my orders from her and not a sword in my face. I even tried resetting her AI, but she only sheaths her sword and immediately draws it again and continues to hack at me.

Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks in advance.

I have literally about 80 save states, but if you don't have any others, I would suggest sprinting away until you lose her, fast traveling somewhere, then traveling back to the camp.

Thanks for the answer, I tried that, but it does not work, she attacks me on sight again.
I don't have many saves, and the worst problem is that I have no idea of the cause of this stupid behavior, so I have no idea when it occured.

Reloads do not always clear out the data caches the game uses. Plus, damage caused by dragons can be blamed on you by NPCs. This is why I now run away from NPCs/towns if I think a dragon wants to play. I take care of it away from by standers.

So, it is best to start this over by loading a save from before all this started, fast traveling to a different spot to trigger the dragon the game wants to throw at you. Right now, the game wants to give you the dragon, and it will where ever you fast travel to. Once you deal with that, then go to the camp.

Now you know why we tell people to have lots of save slots. What you might try is to load the cell and run/sprint away from the camp to draw the dragon as far away as possible. That is your only hope. Next time have more slots and cycle through them.

this happened to me at one point because i was doing the kill emporer quest and I left the second i got onto the ship because i decided to do something else and then when i went to leggot rikke she attacked me so it had someting to do with that and loaded before i got in the ship and they did not attack me

Thanks for the advice, reloading an earlier save and avoiding the dragon (the bastard wouldn't attack me, so I waited until it flew away) solved the problem. It seems like the damage caused by the dragon was balemd on me. If this is true, it is definitely a bug, and should be looked into.
