I seriously recommend that everyone with an interest in tabletop RPGs look into http://www.ruleofcool.com/, because it's really, really good.
I know, he's a friend and I'm biased, but I'm also a fairly serious homebrewer for D&D 3.5, and I know a thing or two about tabletop RPGs; this is a really well thought out, well designed, and thoroughly tested RPG. It is fast, it is fun, and it avoids so many of the headaches that I've grown accustomed to in RPGs. More than anything, Legend really gets it better than any game I have played — they've spent a ton of effort making sure there are rules for things you need rules for — situations where there's conflict and important decisions to be made — and where the rules should butt out and let the story shine. And they do that, really, really well.
Plus, everything's getting donated to Child's Play. I mean, they're not seeing a cent for this, not even covering their own costs. You donate whatever you like to Child's Play, and then you get a really good RPG. This is something I seriously recommend to everyone with any interest in these sorts of games.
