Legendary dragon... hmm not bad : V

Well killed I think my fourth legendary dragon today, second on master, and I was surprised by the loot he had: A Daedric shield of firewalking ( 70% fire resist!), ebony warhamer, 2 flawless saphires ( I have the extra gem effect on though) usualy assortmeant of dragon bones/scales and an ebony arrow ( I think from a nearby Draugr ). Have you guys been getting loot like this from them? The shield in particular seems pretty amazing, probably the best peice of random loot I have thus far encountered.

I'm still working on getting my level high enough for them to spawn. Level 69 though so I'm almost their( I have my dragon hunting gear ready!). The loot seems promising.

The one I've killed had a Dragonbone Bow on them.

They started appearing for my second dawnguard playthrough around level 75. My first dawnguard character I played on was 81. Before 75 was just revered.

Yes am fast traveling and going to the dragon marked areas. Dropped about 10 dragons alone today. On master. Frustrating

Thats weird. Almost all of my dragons at mounds were replaced with the legendary ones. All except the one near Markarth. That one's always an ancient dragon for me.

Im lvl 81, and these dragons use drain vitality allot, which is really bad if you play on master ...

Well dragons seem to all be based on % chance. I still occasionally see regular. blood dragons... very rarely. Im just hoping ill get to see a few revered dragons.

When you are a high level, they will start spawning. So where you currently find a dragon, it will have a chance to be legendary at round 68+ 'I think'. I was level 81 before the dlc so I cant be sure when exactley they start.

One place where I always seem to find one is Arcwind point ( along with a word wall for drain vitality). There always seems to be an epic three way battle there between me, a legendary dragon and a few skeltons/ draugr. And when its done there is a generic dragon preist to fight...

Try arcwind point. the drain vitality wall is there too.

I found one revered and one legendary I got Daedric bows from each and the legendary had Daedric armor(chest) to go with it.
