SMALL SPOILERS











While killing a Silver Hand in Broken Helm Hollow, I found a dead Nord named Leifnarr. It triggered a Miscellaneous objective, which is to tell his family of his death. There is no quest marker, and I can't find this in the strategy guide.

Does anyone know where his family is so that I can complete the objective? Thanks in advance!

I found him in a bandit cave, I also have no idea who to talk to. Maybe the quest was cut before release?

his family is at Heartwood Mill which is on the west shore of the lake that is directly west of riften on the map i found his body before talking to his wife for the quest and it became bugged though so good luck :/

Yup, mine is glitched as well. There is no dialogue option to tell his wife of his passing.

same.. pretty [censored] up if u ask me.. u know its his wife but for some magical reason u cant tell her , not as bad as getting a companion rescue quest but the guy i had to rescue was already dead when i got there wtf.. why cant it either fail or make me go back an say his dead already?
