Let's build a nasty vampire.

What perks do you take and how do you allocate your levels around this type of character. Let's assume this is open for discussion on topic of hybrid builds too. In example.. Warrior vamp, Mage vamp, illusion vamp, etc. what do you do or have you done to create a serious vampire beast that changes the dynamics of your " average" build? Discuss.

the Restoration perk Necromage (level 70) provides buffs to all powers etc vampires use. you become weaker to fire, even more resistant to frost, and all enchantments, potion effects etc get buffed. want to make super good potions? get a Fortify Alchemy enchantment, it gets buffed. use this to make a Fortify Alchemy potion. this potion is improved by the enchantment, and when you drink it the effect is buffed even further. now quickly make superbuffed health/stamina/etc potions. fun.

Dunmer for 50% bonus to fire resistance, climb up the restoration tree ASAP to pick up necromage since it apparently will affect perks taken as a necromage vampire.

Illusion to take advantage of the 25% bonus granted by vampire and be able to calm entire towns in case they hate you. Sneak for the bonus. Choose "fire" as your element of choice to take advantage of "Aspect of Terror" granting 10 point bonus to each fire spell cast. Necromage will allow you to resurrect level 50 vampires as thralls instead of being capped at level 40, so maxed conjuration is a must (will also allow regular resurrections of things like draugr deathlords). With necromage and dual casting your summon and resurrection spells, you can make them last over 6 minutes. I normally just stick to Daedra Lords though.

Using Illusion and sneak with double backstab damage gloves, you can basically assassinate anyone you want. Stacking Marked for Death while calming bosses over and over can get their damage down to be able to one-shot them. Talos necklace with talos buff while necrovamp'd will make those shouts ready to recast in like 10 seconds. You can make Become Ethereal last longer than the recast timer, allowing you to be permanently invulnerable.

Is this "nasty" enough for you?

I was going for all this and originally took Necromage Perk to do more damage to undead with the fire spells. But that's when I discovered the necromage affecting vampires aspect when Become Ethereal lasted longer than the recast after getting the perk.

Sometimes I'm surprised by the occasional archer one-shot, but normally I'm pretty unstoppable with this setup.
