I was just looking over the features overview on the FO NV website http://fallout.gamesas.com/eng/games/fnv-overview.html and near the bottom it says "-Let It Ride!" and then it goes on to describe the openness and amount of freedom of choice, "In a huge, open world with unlimited options you can see the sights, choose sides, or go it alone. Peacemaker or Hard Case, House Rules, or the Wild Card - it’s all in how you play the game".

I remember hearing on numerous occasions how there would be 4 significantly different endings depending on who you sided with (not including the small consequences) and I got thinking that maybe "Peacemaker", "HardCase", "House Rules" or "Wild Card" are referring to the 4 distinct possible endings. Peacemaker could be a lot like how it sounds probably somewhere along the lines of good karma and helping NCR to try and rebuild the Mojave Dessert. Where as HardCase could be referring to a character who most likely sided with Caesar's legion and in doing so having bad karma, HardCase almost sounds homicidal so i don't think i'm reaching too far in connecting the two. Whereas House rules most definitively refers to Mr. House the Ruler or 'king' of New Vegas and could be karma neutral (either good or bad or in between). Lastly Wild Card may be the ending in which the Courier or pc ends up taking over New Vegas for themselves also probably karma neutral. I also remember hearing about how helios one can be controlled and used for the NCR against the legion, vice versa, also it could be used for the New Vegas residents or against everyone(something along those lines I know Im not fully 100% accurate). Anyways what do you guys think, are they alluding to the 4 different endings on their website or not?

Well, I could get you a solid, definitive answer, however my TARDIS is still on lone to this overly chatty british dude with a bow tie and some scottish broad. It's probably gonna be a while before I can do the whole Time and Space thing and warp ahead to October.
