Folks, I know you all want to play the beta, but thread-bombing the forums with dozens of replies, or harassing Bethesda's employees on twitter, isn't going to help. A very small number of applicants are going to be selected, and chances are both you and I aren't going to get selected. It's out of our hands and running around like our pants are on fire isn't going to solve anything. Take a deep breath and relax.

I remember a comment someone made in the last couple of weeks re:, I think, an E3 interview in which Todd brushed off the idea that new forum members would be considered for the beta.

Does anyone know wheher that's true or not?

I thought the beta threads were kind of fun but seeing the moderator is slowly going insane I won't contribute/spam anymore.

IMO the most tiresome are all the new threads asking if the Beta is out yet. I think there will be a notice of some sort by then.

If they do such events in the future they might reconsider a forum sticky in where they ask not to talk/spam/whine/beg/threaten about it.
