I'm guessing heavy since it seems similar to steel plate or ebony in size and shape. Also he seems more like a vampire who faces things head on than to hide and sneak.

It is the armor the main vampire guy seems to be wearing. Looks like Medium armor. But looking at the Glass football player armor from Skyrim then the armor is probably light armor. In fact I am certain of it.

Fa Hell yea it's Light Armor I made this thread out of a thin hope someone might be ABSOLUTLY sure it wasn't lol. Ugh it takes too long to level to 50 to regret your build later on, I am even on PC but I don't use beneficial mods or console. I need a good hybrid light armor stealth magic user build.

Looks light to me. Also looks pretty corny. Should've gotten the modders behind the "Lore Friendly Armor Pack" to help out.

A very strong gut feeling, how many builds do you see wearing Heavy armor? Some, but not many mine being one of the few only because I am not wanting to start a brand new mage. The amount of hours it would take it reach level 50 with a pure mage, the shouts, the dragon souls, the etc etc sheesh.

So I am biting the bullet and turning my warrior into a hybrid with some magicka and if that armor was heavy that would be fan censored tastic.

i never liked this feature of some of the armors in oblivion, like the special armor at endgame. or like the arena armor both looking essentially the same. each armor should be either light armor exclusive or heavy exclusive. not both imo

Choose whether it's light or heavy? Laughable. They should (and probably do) have both a heavy set and a light set. Maybe 2 or 3 of each.

I'm sure it's a unique armor for the vampire leader, like Tullius and Ulfric both have their own unique clothes. In all likelihood, it will be lootable if you kill him, but provide extremely inferior protection.

I dont think it is armor, the wings are coming out of the back, so i think it may be a creature rather than armor, just have to wait and see
