Level 18 about to start over and have questions

Post » Sun Mar 06, 2011 9:09 am

I just made too many goofs...

Anywho, I wanted to ask a few questions to get some things straight:

1. Is there a way to get the quest to assault NCRCF if you help the town defend itself or do you have to side with the bad guys first? I hope everyone knows what I mean.

2. When does the silencer for the 10mm become available? Is it a certain level, if so, which one?

Yes. There are, in fact, two ways. One, don't do that quest (defend the town) until later. Two, don't do any of the fighting yourself.

Mods are pretty much random. Just keep checking back with those who carry them.

A mod may need to move this post off to the Cheats, Hints and Spoilers section:

Spoiler

IIRC you can still do the NCRCF quest line even if you helped Ringo fight off the Powder Gangers in Goodsprings.

From there just Follow the NCRCF quest line to the end and at the end side with the NCR raid instead of warning the leader of the Powder Gangers.

If you want to be sure, however, you can hold off on the Goodsprings quest indefinitely until you have completed the NCRCF line

If you are doing the Primm "Sherriff" quest, I suggest doing that first too. Recruiting the ex-sheriff from the NCRCF prison and getting him a pardon from NCR will give you a discount in Primm instead of getting taxed if you let the NCR establish martial law there.

This is my third playthrough to mid level (restarting twice because I didn't like my stats) and I have yet to see a 10mm silencer... =/

Probably.

That's just the thing, I've never been asked to do anything about NCRCF...maybe I haven't asked enough I don't know.

This probably should be moved.
