I just ran through the game quickly on a 24 hour binge of Fallout: New Vegas. It being my favorite series, and at this point having spent easily in the hundreds of dollars as a fan through Fallout 1 to Now, am extremely disappointed with the sequel. Besides the all over bugginess of the game, and the occasional VATS and save glitching, i now am not allowed to level up? I am currently level 1 with 417/200 xp.

Personally, i find this ghastly. When i spend as much money and patience playing a game such as this i expect to atleast be able to enjoy the simple leveling process of my favorite RPG series. If you would please, please, put a valid effort into fixing all this [censored] (thats a technical term here), it'd be much appreciated. Otherwise the series and you employees have really let down a die hard fan, and im not the only one ive heard complaining. Get to work.

I'm having the same problem too. My post on another board:

My character won't level up (from level 1 to 2). I'm not sure if it's related to having a different save that has a maxed out character, because the game froze when I should have leveled up, or because I named my character "[censored]THISGAME." I've tried reloading, clearing the cache, waiting, sleeping, and doing other things to gain more XP (currently at 1000XP). I wish somebody would have told me that this was the beta before I paid for it.

Edit: Also didn't get the "hardcoe" achievement from my first play through even though hardcoe mode was on the entire time. The only time it was switched off was when I was in the settings menu and accidentally bumped it off when I was switching the difficulty, but I switched it back on before I left the menu so it never saved my settings to that. If that is why I didn't get the achievement, there should be some kind of prompt when toggling it to make sure you want to switch it off.

Im glad im not alone in this, the sad thing is that they dont respond to the people taking the time out of their day to give them a friendly reminder so that this series doesnt go in the gutter like so many others these days. Love my fallout, but theyve really back stabbed on this one.
