As I said before, I plan on being a Vampire Lord, but my question would be if I'd have enough levels left to get up all my magic perks up as well as smithing and enchanting? Smithing and Enchanting to fight off the penalty to fire on some armor, and the magic just in case the rumor of a Vampire Lord only being able to use magic is true.
Depends on the school of magic If you do 2 or 3 youre fine personally I like being a Breton mage and just put all my points into magic and whatnot I have a lvl 81 mage and he is really strong even on master haha
Do what feels like fun. You'll be formidable at level 81.5 regardless of which perk you put where. But my advice? Enchanting and Smithing > Magic trees. Put some into the magic, but with enchanting you could go so far as to allow 0 point spell costs. With that, you render null a number of perks in a particular magic tree.
Work on whatever keeps you alive such as restoration or alchemy for healing potions. Getting the best gear in the game is pretty vital at this point because we dont know how high the difficulty is going to be.
I'm definitely gearing up in preparation for Dawnguard. I want to stay at a medium level, like 40 something, so there's still a challenge, but not too big a challenge like the lonesome road in New Vegas.
