I play on a PC.My mage is level 21...wears ) armor and I play on master level.I have only the basic game.

My questions. My principal tactic atm is to conjure a flame spirit plant her close to my victum and finish off the survivor...or repeat till there are none..

I really would hope to get a bit MORE creative with my tactics and tools to implement them.I use runes to ambush......fire/flame is my close in spell for close in fighting.
My question....when can I expect more variety in how I fight ? I only have a low level frenzy spell atm.


Loking for comments on when...what I need to do to open things up.

try alteration and illusion, they' re more funny and "creatives" for us
nothing beats seein' two or three crazy mudcrabs attacking each other or a mammuth destroyin' his own allies for us

He casts it close to the target. Not ..get in close to cast.

The best variety is just that...variety. If you want to mix it up. Get some spells and play around with different things. The best part of some of this stuff is just... experimenting.

Restoration has Turn Undead that is basically a Fear spell for them until you get perked in Illusion to work on them. Even if it doesn't turn them, it will stagger all undead.
