I'm level 37 and I have heavy armor at level 62 with 2 perks points in Juggernaut, one in Well Fitted and one in Tower of Strength

and i have light armor at 18 with no perks what so ever.

is it to late to switch ?

P.S sorry if this question is asked a lot but i wanted the answers to be more specific to my situation.

Not really. You still have enough perks to go on. It takes about 10 perks to max out the Light Armor tree.

I switched from light to heavy at about level 30. it's no big deal except you used a few perks you didn't end up needing. To me, changing things up like that renews interest in the game.

You may want to train up some levels of light armor if you make the switch. Otherwise you'll proably be one-shot a lot.

i switched from heavy armor to light armor at lvl 48.

no problem. you will want some easy enemies in the beginning, though. also i have to say, that i use a mod that lets me add perks by using dragonsouls.

Have at it. Unless you are tight on perks for your build you should be fine.

Not too late. My Spellsword switched from Light to Heavy, and to Light again. It's not really a big deal. Perks can easily be made up, too.

No big deal, and if you're great at stealth you don't even need armor. My assassin is often just rocking the Jester outfit. Went up against two giants and a mammoth without taking a scratch, and then I wasn't even sneaking - Helps if you focus on dual-wielding, your enemies never get the chance to strike a single blow. So light armor, even if underdeveloped (and you can still max out the skill three, just 10 levels away) should be more than enough to keep you safe.

If you have the extra perks then it's not too late to switch.

You might be at a temporary disadvantage, and you probably shouldn't put all of your remaining perk points in it because it could better be used for other stuff, but yeah, its possible

why not just use ebony mail its pretty good for sneaking
