Light Sources Playing Up

Got a little lighting thing going on which I thought was just with Chesko's travel lantern but it actually happens with torches too so thought I'd make a thread for it.

Basically then it;s dark and I have my lantern equip or a torch at certain angles some of the walls and floor tend to go pitch black and when I move the camera a different way it goes back to normal very much like what we use get in Oblivion sometimes . Any ideas? I've taken some screens if so will link them if needed to see exactly what I'm talking about.

If this is what I think you're talking about, this is default game behavior. I get it too all the time in cells / scenes with numerous light sources, the engine just can't handle too many at once and so you get the effect you mention. This is basically Oblivion 2.5 when it comes to the engine so a lot of the same quirks are still around.
