Which line in the .ini files controls the distance at which indoor lights fade in/out?

I've been dealing with it for some time, but I just can't take it anymore... I'm tired of seeing indoor lights fade in as I approach them. It wouldn't be so bad if it were a smoother fade, but the fade-in for me is VERY noticable. I'd like to change the fade-in distance to be farther out, far enough to where I will no longer notice it.

I think it's linked with the shadows distance. Last time I played with the shadows the light distance was really short. Try interior shadow distance

Thank you. You were spot on, that was it. I had lowered my interior shadow distance to increase shadow quality. I had to pump i back up. It would seem we cannot have one good thing without sacrificing another.
