Ligthting in CK != ingame?

And it differs very greatly.

Here is my interior in the CK:

And here ingame:

Please note that it is much brighter. I want to create a real ambient light that looks cool and is not so bright all over it, but this is gonna take forever with switching between the CK and Skyrim all the Time.
If I miss something, please point it out, I would be happy if it is just a wrong setting in the CK.

Are the lights enabled in the CK? I think the hotkey is L.. or A.

I think so. It does cast a light in the editor. But it is actually much less brighter than ingame.

This isn't terribly surprising. My experience with world building is with Hammer for Source engine games so I'm used to the idea of having to run the game to see how things end up looking in-engine. It's probably not feasible to have the editor fully reproduce scenes the way the game does. Proper lighting might be something you just have to get a feel for over time.

Once you've changed the Ambient in the Lighting tab, go to the Directional Ambient Lighting tab and click "Set From Ambient" button and it should work.

Well I am used to the Unreal Engine.
And when I do a lighting pass even on only Preview Settings (which is faster than having full production lighting), I get a pretty good impression on what I have done.
But look at this:
http://imgur.com/ihlsF

That is zoomed out. The Room is basically black. As if there is no lighting at all.
There is a light at the entrance and four omnidirectional lights on each Sconce along with a FireWithEmbersHeavy or so.
Then look at the above screenshot^^.
I really don't understand this. I have set the ambient light for the cell to completly black, so I expected it to be much darker.

EDIT:
Once you've changed the Ambient in the Lighting tab, go to the Directional Ambient Lighting tab and click "Set From Ambient" button and it should work.

You are my Hero :D.
Thanks a lot man.

Have you looked at the light level settings for the actual interior cell? It looks like it is washing out your placed light sources.
