OS X Lion

Not sure how many Mac users we have here, but might anybody who has installed Lion care to report on their experience so far?

I guess I'd be particularly interested to hear from people who aren't iOS users.

I'm a Mac user, but I'm not going to install the new OS for at least several months. Make sure they work out the kinks with patches first. I would recommend against installing it for now.

http://www.engadget.com/2011/07/20/apple-os-x-lion-10-7-review/, which means it's the worst Apple product to ever according to Engadget :P

(Not joking, no Apple product has gotten below a 9 AFAIK before then on Engadget)

Actually, that seems to be the general consensus: It's too wishy-washy muddled between the iPhone and the traditional desktop, making for a very lack-luster experience

I was able to convince the super-Machead at work from instantly upgrading to Lion because of the above links.

Meh. I tend to avoid upgrading systems unless I'm forced to. If the one you're using works and you're familiar with it, no reason to switch.

(And in this case.... yeah, I hadn't been interested in what I'd heard in the first place. "Like iOS" does nothing for me - I don't have any of those handheld gadgets, so....)

I don't use Macs myself, but we're required to use them for school. I'm hoping they don't upgrade all of the machines to Lion. It's really not all as great as it's hyped to be.
