Could anyone direct me to all the required tools and libraries required for modelling and implementing models into Skyrim? I'm a bit out of the loop since Oblivion... Thanks in advance!

That's a short list:
The exporters aren't yet fit for Skyrim.

Using a modelling program of their choice to create an .OBJ and Nifskope to import it into a Skyrim .NIF.

Ah so just swapping models... Damn. I wanted to make some changes to the head and ear nifs but I guess I'll have to wait until I can import the models into Blender.

Thanks for the info though. Very much appreciated!

Nifskope can export as OBJ too.

You don't need Blender for heads unless you want to make a spectacularly ugly one, the CK can be used to create "normal" head-NIFs
