A little Enchanting learning tip

Post » Fri Jun 08, 2012 1:45 pm

I took armor and weapons and jewelry with enchantments that I would not actually use and then enchanted items I would not use because I knew there would be stronger Items later on so when my Enchanting perks that I wanted to reach like dual and I had the stronger Items I was ready to use Enchantments my top level

Lets say you have a 10% fire resist when you find a stronger 40% fire resist you will not be able to upgrade because you already used 10% Enchantment

So I saved my fire and frost and health magika stamina bow 1 & 2 hand and carry Enchantments untill I knew I had the highest

Plus your practice enchanted items were great for selling to raise speech perks

I did the same with Alchemy made potions with herbs I never would use and stock up on herbs for potions that i would use
so when my alchemy was making decent potions I had all the herbs I needed
Sold practice potions

PS: I also used petty soul gems for Enchantment learning did not want to waste better soul gems

Disenchant a 40% fire resist item, or disenchant a 10%, it makes no difference to the strength of the enchantment you learn from it. You just learn the ability, not it's strength. This is governed by enchanting skill, not initial enchantment strength. You are better off disenchanting the weak item and selling the strong, expensive one.

The way I did it was make the jewelry using gold and silver to get smithing up and then enchart them then sell. The spell to change iron ore to silver then gold is another help with that skill.

...your post was barely readable. I didnt garner any usefull info from it and your post-note stopped people from learning that using better soul gems ranks up the skill faster.

enchanting like alchemy exp increases are based upon the value of the created item with better quality items fetching a higher price and more exp...

When leveling enchating, I use all but grand/black soul gems- those are the only ones I will use in finished products, so why hang on to all the others? They sell better anyway.
