My Little Graphics Error Thread

Post » Thu May 31, 2012 4:55 pm

Rather than creating a new thread every time I encounter a graphical problem I think I will just bump this one. Here are my issues currently.

#1

In Whiterun I occasionally watch the water texture flicker into this screwed up dark swirling void. This happens on the two drains along side the stairs leading to the town square, and the water behind the blacksmith.

#1.5

Not that this is a big deal in any sense but I figured I'd mention it. The wall and the floor texture next to the water behind the blacksmith has a small gap. I noticed it when I was looking at the black void mentioned above^

#2

Snow in general on top of any sort of texture looks bad

#3 Windhelm Inn's windows texture is a bright bronze color.

I get your #3 as well with the vertical lines as well as your #1. Do you get occasional flickering water on movement after a fast travel?

I get 1, 2 and 3.

Aren't the windows meant to be like that in "Candlehearth" Hall? - ie. I assumed it's meant to represent (perhaps not literally but in the form of stained glass windows) the candle-light hence the warm tint to the windows.

I don't think so considering how bad they look. And no I don't think I get any flickering water after a fast travel.....

I agree those windows looked so bad that it stood out to me too....not the color as much as the lines.
You would notice it is really bad(in regards to the flickering water).....it is a known issue must just affect some and not other ATI cards and driver configs. If you do ever get it stop back and lemme know. As far as that seam goes I bet that is there on every game....great eye sir.
