My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic

Oh, she's one of us alright.

I, for one, crashed tea parties of ponies and whatnot with Optimus Prime. Perfectly fine entertainment. Didn't get me the nicest reputation, but what the heck did I care. I survived girl's school!

I can't imagine Turns having regular toys. Maybe a G.I. Scargill.

Eww, he's an East-Coaster.

I never really had any transformers. I tended to just pressgang whatever I had into a Fellowship of the Ring type thing. The Big Bad defeated by a ragtag group comprised of a Lego Knight, a triceratops and a Duplo hippo.

Now I think of it, I once set up an epic storyline for a lego farm that I built. It was a post apocalyptic settlement in western Scotland that was mostly involved in animal husbandry. Much of the story focussed around a local bureaucrat's attempt to capture a winged horse that haunted him during his attempt to seize power from the rightful king of Scotland. I think I was 8 when I did that.

Is there any part of the country except Lancashire you're not prejudiced against? :P

I really don't get what's happening here, I expected this thread to end up with a small following....

Seems most of the active members have fallen prey to it.

Like you're going to deny you didn't do the same with whatever toys YOU had.

My toys usually ended up eating/burning the world...

I quite like north Wales and western Scotland. The South coast is pretty cool too, they don't act like typical southeasters.

I was a very imaginative child. Bit weird that I made a post-nuclear story before I even knew what a nuke was as such.

Also I changed my avatar in keeping with our new cult. I'd have had rainbow dash, because I am strangely attracted to girls who dye their hair in ridiculous day glo shades, but Rev already took her. :(

I'm sorry for having fun. If you had followed the other thread, you would see that I have posted just as much as everyone else. AND no one had a problem with what I was posting. You know why? Because they understood it was all in fun. So, really bro, if you don't like my posts, don't respond to them.

If this were YouTube, you'd get a dozen thumbs up from me now.

I repainted my Optimus Prime, using Pa's collection of TT miniature colours. He became Cú Chulainn Prime. Same age.

when i was 8 i sent my toys out on an epic adventure that ended up lasting nearly a year, it was a dragon ball z style story full of action where we had to find 5 Jewels and place them on this mirror, and once we had done that, we would be granted the power to save the world.

i used tons of toys for it, i used piccilo toy, 2 power rangers, 2 of the guys from beyblade, some character i new nothing about, and i used hogwarts as a setting.

I guess this is the new plague on the Internet.

FTFY

It plagues these forums, and it plagues the chans. Dare I say it likely plagues everywhere by now? Only solution now is to nuke the internet from orbit, it is the only way to be sure.

This too will burn in fire like every other internet fad eventually does.

Just have to wait it out.

If this were YouTube, you'd get a dozen thumbs up from me now.

There was a parallel story following the King, who wore a life support suit to increase his longevity, dealing with the problems and disputes in his realm, and a third one that followed a scientist and his assistants in deciphering old records as they attempted to build a vessel that would take humanity back into space.

The story ran for about 11 years, I have about 8000 years of history written in an old ringbinder. I must have looked OCD to the other children.

I repainted my Optimus Prime, using Pa's collection of TT miniature colours. He became Cú Chulainn Prime. Same age.
Wow. I'm not even sure how to pronounce that now.
