I found it badass in a way, when you kill a zombie they whisper, "at last", "peace...", and "Thank you..."

I found that place. There is a few hunters there in their underwear sitting and relaxing in the waters... Shortly after I found it, two giants attacked
May i ask do the hunters respawn?

Most likely. I hadn't been there in awhile.

Fairy circles - I've seen two so far.

Found the torso of a human skeleton wedge into the ceiling of an ice cave. Reminded me of Luke being "stored" for food in The Empire Strikes Back.
that's exactly what that is.
Beth did the same easter egg in a cave in Bloodmoon

Ants crawling on stumps was my most recent wow moment. I stood there and watched them for a good minute. XD

Oh. I play on the Xbox and I found a Giant's Club on the ground at a Giant's Camp. It was just sitting there but my character was refusing to pick it up.. Then Derkeethus came over and picked it up so now he has a Giant's Club in his inventory!

I found the Abandoned Prison north of Fort Amol, and I gotta say it is both awesome and depressing. Just by finding the notes the guards and prisoners left in there, Bethesda managed to tell a story there without needing a quest. Finding the skeletons of the prisoners lying in the drainage tunnel they were using to attempt to escape before drowning in the prison, and lying around the exit outside the prison, it made me pity them.

I personally think that Bethesda being able to tell a story that way is pretty awesome in its own right, far better than any of the tightly scripted games like Modern Warfare or God of War.

One more thing. Just today did I kill a rabbit with a bow, but it was at a very close range. I think I have never killed one at such a short range before.

It squealed.

This was the most terrible sound I have heard in this game. Hands down.

Poor wittle wabbit. I hope you killed what you ate! Uh i mean I hope you ate what you killed

A few more little things that make Skyrim awesome for me are-

The variety of buetiful emotionally stirring music. First time i heard some religious church like music in the snow capped mountains it gave me such a oneness with the game world as if suddenly i was in a spiritual retreat a sacred respite from the rest of the world.

All the little touches to combat like the stunned effect when hitting an enemy. How i can visually tell they are on deaths doorstep as they fall to one knee or fall down completely before i land the killing blow. How some beg for mercy while others surrender or runaway.

Being able to decapitate enemies by becoming a strong enough character in certain skills to earn the perk.

The much slower acttack speed of two handed weapons and their damage levels.

Acttacking an enemy and finding myself missing as they dodged my acttack and i end up crashing into a wall or nearly falling off a cliff. I havent missed so much and enjoyed it in all my life time ha ha.

Seeing the trap mechanism on chests and being able to disarm them.

Seeing burn marks on chests which had flaming traps on them.

Seeing fish jump about in streams.

How different cold places can look so different with some looking very cold and others looking bone chilling frost biting killing cold. Some cities that look icey cold i just get the shivers walking by their ship ports as if jumping into the freezing waters would give me an instant heart acttack.

How skeleton bones fly all over the place when i destroy a skeletal enemy.

Being able to collect skulls.

The shine of jewelry.

The ui inventory with its ability to get a closer look at items like jewelry. Being able to go in and out swiftly with the pressing of keys on the keyboard. Having individual keys with multiple functions.

Feeling as if i might be doing something wrong by taking something eventhough there is no steal tag on the item.

Coming across items like bags of gold hidden away in secluded spots as if put there by someone who was trying to hide it.

The variety of robes. Love how black robes come in different types from normal wear to magical or the creepy conjurer robes. The restoration robes one finds in the starter dungeon look great with their religious style and comfortable separate hood.

How certain animals come to ones aid in the wilderness. Of course this means i might be stuck with them following me around til i tell them to get lost dog!

The animations when doing certain crafting tasks like alchemy, smithing, chopping wood, mining, smelting, cooking etc. At last the thrill of visually seeing some smithing is back like the good ol days of stepping into a weapon shop and seeing a black smith hammering away in TES II Daggerfall.

Hearing some of the tavern music from TES II Daggerfall in TES V Skyrim.

Salmon jumping up the waterfalls was one of the first things I noticed after escaping Helgen. I thought that was awesome.
I still haven't managed to find any ants or termites in tree stumps though!

Well, I once saw a good looking ghost on the side of a road with these whisp things circling around her. She waited for me to get close to her till her and her whisp friends attacked me. I always thought those sailors were stupid, but now... well, I kinda get it.

And then, later, I read about that very type of ghost in an ingame mysterious fable creatures book. Very cool.

yesterday, north-east of riften, I found a cage with a wolf inside and two bandits named as "Trapper" guarding it. I think they are the only 'trappers' in all skyrim. of course I've killed both of them and the caged wolf :D

The planets aren't actually spheres of rock in space. Well, they are, but that is all a mortal mind can comprehend of the infinite spheres that are the dead bodies/sleeping forms of the gods. The moons are the broken body of Lorkhan. To the Cyrodiilics, he is Shezzar, the missing god, nothing in importance compared to Akatosh and the Anuic divines. To the Nords, he is the leader of their pantheon, the murdered champion of humanity. And the moons are a lot bigger from Skyrim than from Cyrodiil. Love that detail.

What birds are there?!
I find the lack of birds noteworthy. There are the hawks, the town chickens and the dead kitchen pheasant (with no live ones around) and bird nests.

If you explore the right places, you'll find Hawks nests on cliff edges (with Hawks eventually returning to their nests to rest/sleep). I recently found another one near Riften.

The chest traps are evidenced by a short, thin cable coming off one side of them (usually a shadowy, hard to see side) and going down to the ground. If you don't really look for them, and use a torch or other light in the darker locations, you'd never see them. You can disarm these trap cables by putting your cursor on them and then 'picking' them like a lock. Most common kinds of these traps are magic rune mines, poison darts, flame-burst jets, and swinging mace-balls on chains to conk you on the gourd.

I meant the lack of variety in birds. Just saying the lack of birds was wrong. In real is there a large variety of birds around us all the time.

The way your followers air their misgivings about certain areas and dungeons, an ominous "I don't like where this is going!"

When I am stil up at 4am, looking at alchemy potions and my wife/follower yawns, I think "Yeah, you're probably right!" and go to bed!

Fairy circles?

Probably better described as http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fairy_ring. They are a circle of mushrooms. So far, I've found two in the forests of Skyrim.

Well they do. You`re just not keeping your eyes open. Try running through a forest in first person for a while, perhaps near the steps at Hrothgar. Even take a walk through Solitude and you`ll see shadows from flying birds above you.
lol, try some dead one's randomly on the ground! I waited like 3 hours in front of the bard's college. And like 4 hawks just randomly fell dead out of the sky! lol. That was funny.

found that too, did the same thing. After freeing the wolf, then chopping his head off.

Them are all hawks. I have killed them many times. There are however no other types of birds.

There are "flocks" of birds that you can scare up as you travel the world. The one I always see is on the bridge at Riverwood. Every time I cross it, I startle a flock and it flies away. Not that you can kill or use them. I think it's just an affect like the bats that fly out of the cave.

It would be cool if they handled birds like Red Dead Redemption did. You could kill everything from ducks to songbirds and collect their feathers.
