Hey, I was just curious about the utility of the Living Anatomy perk. I was going for a guns oriented sniper and this seemed like a nice choice until I realized I'd have to put 70 points into medicine to get it. Is it worth the investment or am I just going to end up ignoring the information this perk will be giving me?
Thanks.
I also built a sniper and was tempted to take it. But after taking the Sniper perk and seeing how easy it was to get headshots in VATS, I opted to get different perks instead. Sometimes, you get penalized heavily for trying to take a torso shot either because the bad guy is crouched or else they are holding their weapon in front of their chest, so you end up with a higher chance to hit their head, arm, or leg in VATS anyhow. As for the information it gives you, I'm not sure how detailed it is, but if you are trying to build an optimized death machine then you'll be taking almost everybody out in only one or two shots. I would think you only have to worry about exact numbers if you were more of a spray-and-pray type character who opts to attack more often rather than try to do massive amounts of damage in a single shot.
